What the check is

Red Flag Check looks for common warning signs using automated rules and anonymous community flags. Results are risk signals and general information, not a guarantee, legal advice or a finding that any person or business has done anything wrong.

Your responsibility

A low score does not prove something is safe, and a high score does not prove it is a scam. Before sending money or personal details, verify through an official channel.

Flagging

Only flag a website or number you were genuinely targeted by. Don't use flags to harass, compete unfairly or settle disputes. We may remove flags and block misuse. Anyone who believes they were flagged unfairly can ask for a review.

Liability

The free service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on a result. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including South Africa's Consumer Protection Act.

Paid plans

Paid plans, when launched, will have their own pricing, cancellation and refund terms shown before you pay.
